We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Software Developer - ETL to lead the technical design, end-to-end development, and continuous optimization of enterprise data integration pipelines. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex business processes and cloud/on-premise data architectures. You will translate system specifications into scalable, high-performance Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) environments. Operating within modern data ecosystems, you will engineer secure data flows, tune high-volume data stores, and investigate pipeline anomalies to ensure absolute data quality and maintainability.

Responsibilities
Data Integration Architecture: Design, implement, and continuously scale multi-source ETL pipelines, ensuring data assets are transformed to match exact downstream analytical and operational needs.

Cloud Data Engineering (Azure Stack): Build orchestration workflows within Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks, managing Self-Hosted Integration Runtimes, debugging transformations, and assigning cloud access security parameters.

Legacy & Hybrid Pipeline Management: Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot workflows within enterprise integration engines, explicitly utilizing Informatica components (Designer, Workflow Manager, Repository Manager, and Workflow Monitor).

Modern Cloud Logic Development: Architect decoupled serverless utilities and workflow rules using Azure Logic Apps and Azure Function Apps.

Database Programming & Tuning: Author, compile, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL programs and Microsoft SQL Server Stored Procedures, managing relational and hierarchical structures.

Massive Data Scale Optimization: Execute performance tuning, query indexing, and resource throttling over massive datasets hosted on Azure SQL DB and Azure Synapse Analytics platforms.

DevOps & Infrastructure-as-Code Integration: Embed pipeline updates into unified Azure DevOps or GitHub version control lifecycles, governing branches, pull requests, and automated CI/CD releases.

Business Intelligence & Reporting Support: Partner with analytics squads to shape data layers powering executive metrics across Microsoft PowerBI and IBM Cognos deployments.

Technical Documentation & Collaboration: Elicit design constraints from diverse stakeholders, run structured technical design walkthroughs, and author low-level programming specs and error runbooks.

Qualifications
Core ETL Seniority: 10+ years of progressive professional experience in software development and systems analysis, with explicit mastery over end-to-end full-lifecycle ETL pipeline development.

Business Requirements & Discovery: Extensive, demonstrated experience gathering detailed technical requirements and mapping business process knowledge to design high-quality data transformations (Strictly Required).

Azure Cloud Engineering Toolkit: Advanced hands-on experience designing and debugging solutions inside Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL DB, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Informatica Toolset Fluency: Practical operational experience developing with Informatica Suite layers (Workflow Manager, Repository Manager, Designer, and Workflow Monitor).

Advanced Database Programming: Exceptional proficiency writing and optimizing Oracle PL/SQL modules and SQL Server Stored Procedures handling massive volumes of data.

Serverless App Orchestration: Direct experience configuring microservices and cloud automation via Azure Logic Apps and Azure Function Apps.

Azure DevOps / Git Lifecycle Mastery: High proficiency using Azure DevOps components (Boards, Pipelines, Repos, Test Plans, Artifacts) and managing Git version branches.

Soft Skills: Superb analytical problem-solving, diplomatic communication, and relationship-management skills, with a proven track record of aligning technical designs with non-technical business priorities.

Nice to Have:
Functional familiarity with public sector information governance principles, IT accessibility directives (AODA/WCAG regulations), or GO-ITS enterprise guidelines.

Experience delivering projects under Rapid Application Development (RAD) or structured Agile sprint frameworks.
