Part Time Controller Subcontractor

Job Responsibility:

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Subcontractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining effective communication with clients and vendors. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software to facilitate smooth operations.

Duties

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Utilize accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Freshbooks for managing financial transactions.
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage year end preparation and filing process
• Assist in budgeting activities by providing necessary financial data and insights.
• Collaborate with clients to address any financial inquiries or issues that may arise.
• Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and reports for auditing purposes.

Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, and Freshbooks is essential.
• Strong skills in account reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRA Online with a RepID
