About the Role

We’re looking for dependable, hardworking Sidewalks Crew Leaders to help clear walkways, entrances, and sidewalks during snow and ice events. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that shows up when it matters most, delivering safe and reliable service, no matter what winter throws our way.

What You’ll Do

• Clear Snow & Ice: Shovel snow from sidewalks, walkways, and building entrances. Apply salt or ice melt as needed to keep areas safe.
• Stay On-Call: Be ready to work when snow hits — including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Use Equipment Safely: Operate shovels, blowers, stand-on equipment, and small snow removal tools with care.
• Leadership: Provide guidance and training to crew members as needed.
• Work as a Team: Communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates. Help where needed to get the job done right.
• Time Entry: Use Aspire to enter crew timesheets for all hours worked.
• Take Care: Arrive prepared, work safely, and help maintain tools and equipment.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Previous snow shoveling experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train reliable, hardworking people.
• Credentials: G license or higher required.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in cold, snowy, and wet conditions for extended periods.
• Attitude: Dependable, safety-focused, and willing to be part of a team that counts on each other.
• Accountability: Show up on time, do what you say you’ll do, and take pride in a job well done.
• Relationship Focused: Professional, respectful, and ready to pitch in to help your teammates.
