Sidewalk Crew Lead - Snow Removal

Urban Life Solutions is hiring Sidewalk Crew Leads to support winter operations by operating sidewalk tractors to clear snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and other designated areas. This role also involves hands on manual work alongside ULS crews to keep properties safe and accessible. This is an on call position requiring 24/7 availability during winter weather events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Valid driver's licence; ability to provide a recent driver's abstract
• Experience operating sidewalk tractors or similar compact equipment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Eligibility to work legally in Canada
• Experience operating a pickup truck with a trailer is considered an asset

Preferred Experience & Attributes:

• Prior background in snow clearing, winter maintenance, or related outdoor labour
• Comfortable taking and giving direction; able to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated with a strong work ethic

Pay: CA$25.00-CA$30.00 per hour

This includes physically demanding work such as shoveling, lifting, landscaping, construction-related tasks, and working outdoors in various weather and environmental conditions.
