This Moment, This Position
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Technical Project Manager plays a key role in coordinating renewable energy projects from development through commissioning and operational handoff.
This role works across multiple active projects simultaneously and acts as a central coordination point between internal teams, utilities, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, customers, and external interest holders.
The role combines technical project coordination, utility and permitting oversight, operational planning, interest holder communication, commissioning coordination, and project delivery support within a fast-paced and evolving renewable energy environment.

How You Will Contribute
Project coordination & Delivery
- Coordinating renewable energy projects across multiple stages of development and implementation
- Supporting commissioning and operational handoff activities
- Supporting project schedules, timelines, deliverables, and operational visibility
Regulatory, Utility & Technical Coordination
- Coordinating permitting, project approvals, and technical documentation
- Supporting utility coordination and interconnection activities
Cross-Functional & External Collaboration
- Collaborating with engineering, operations, logistics, construction, procurement, customer service, and leadership teams
- Coordinating with utilities, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and project partners
Risk Management & Operational Improvement
- Identifying and helping resolve project risks, delays, bottlenecks, and coordination challenges
- Supporting continuous improvement across project delivery and operational systems
Additional responsibilities (Depending on experience, background, and project needs)
- Supporting project feasibility assessments and early-stage development activities
- Contributing to system optimization and operational problem-solving
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen project delivery processes and operational efficiency
- Supporting strategic initiatives tied to emerging renewable energy opportunities

Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in project management, technical project coordination, renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, engineering support, construction administration, or related environments
- Experience managing multiple projects, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously
- Ability to understand and coordinate technical, operational, and project-related information across teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced and evolving environments
- Proficiency with project management and digital collaboration tools
Nice To Have
- Educational background in engineering, renewable energy, construction management, operations, or related technical fields
- Experience with utility coordination, interconnection processes, permitting, commissioning, or renewable energy project development
- Familiarity with commercial or utility-scale solar projects
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and external technical stakeholders
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000
Schedule: Some flexibility in hours may occasionally be required to support operational needs and project timelines
Travel: Occasional travel throughout Atlantic Canada will be required.
