The Enhanced Operations Service at SAP is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as a trusted advisor. You will guide strategic customers through their cloud transformation, employing your expertise in high availability clusters, specifically Pacemaker. The role emphasizes hands-on server management, critical situation handling, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer advanced Linux environments (Redhat/SuSe)
- Implement and manage high availability clustering solutions
- Handle critical situations and optimize service delivery
- Administer public cloud environments: Azure, AWS, GCP
- Conduct problem management and root cause analysis
- 10+ years in Linux administration at an advanced level
- 5+ years’ experience with Linux HA clusters, particularly Pacemaker
- Experience in cloud infrastructure management
- Strong scripting skills (Shell, Perl, Python, Go)
- Excellent communication skills in English
