Fraud Detection Data Scientist - Hybrid

Join Desjardins as a Data Scientist focusing on Fraud Detection in a hybrid role. Utilize advanced analytics to combat transactional fraud and enhance member security. This temporary 12-month role within the Debit and Banking Payments Fraud Analytics team requires innovation and expertise in various data strategies. You will design and deploy models to identify fraud patterns, continuously monitor performance, and provide analytical insights for business decisions. Leveraging your experience with cloud platforms and programming languages, you will contribute directly to improving fraud detection efficacy. Key Responsibilities:
- Design models for quick detection of transactional anomalies
- Analyze fraud data to identify active schemes
- Develop and implement fraud detection strategies
- Monitor and optimize fraud mitigation models in production
- Create dashboards and visualizations for reporting
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum four years of experience in analytics
- Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL programming
- Experience with cloud platforms like IBM Cloud Pak®
- Knowledge of French required
