Deliverables- Design, build, document, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines into the company’s Azure Databricks Enterprise Data Platform , ingesting high-volume data from APIs, databases, files, and other enterprise sources.
- Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Python, Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and SQL , focusing on performance, scalability, reliability, cost efficiency, and timely data availability.
- Troubleshoot production pipeline and data-quality issues, implement Data Quality-by-Design , support pipeline SLOs, and ensure solutions comply with enterprise data integration, modelling, governance, and security standards.
- Develop reusable data engineering frameworks, libraries, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering standards using Azure DevOps while collaborating with Data Scientists, Analysts, Data Stewards, Governance teams, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Experience Required
- 5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience , including at least 5 years working extensively with Python and Apache Spark to develop enterprise-scale data processing solutions.
- 4+ years of hands-on Azure Databricks experience , designing, developing, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning production data pipelines and workloads.
- Strong Microsoft Azure data-platform experience, specifically Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps Pipelines , including CI/CD and automated deployment practices.
- Strong SQL, relational database, data modelling, and data warehousing experience, including data ingestion, transformation, performance optimization, data quality, and integration of multiple source types.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline , plus Agile delivery experience and professional bilingual French/English capability .
