Support Analyst for Trading at smartTrade
SmartTrade
Become a vital part of smartTrade Technologies as a Support Analyst, focusing on real-time Forex platform issues. Leverage your problem-solving skills to assist clients and internal teams effectively. This role based in Toronto requires a candidate skilled in SQL and Unix Shell/Bash scripting. You will tackle complex trading issues, perform regression testing, and proactively mitigate future technical challenges. Your strong communication abilities will ensure successful interactions between clients and our internal teams, enhancing customer loyalty and success. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with issues related to the Forex Application
- Investigate and resolve trading problems
- Monitor system performance proactively
- Develop solutions to prevent future issues
- Perform regression testing on all products and features
- 2-3 years in technology or vendor company for banks
- Proficient with SQL and Unix Shell/Bash scripting
- Experience with FIX protocol and/or Java is a plus
- Knowledge of Monitoring Tools like Zabbix or Grafana
- Strong communication skills in English
