Trading Support Specialist
$40 per hourTemporary
Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is seeking an Analyst, Trade Support (Swaps) for a 12-month contract. This role provides daily support to the trading desk with a focus on swaps operations (equity, fixed income, and interest rate swaps), with equity swaps preferred .
This is a highly technical role , requiring strong coding and automation skills alongside solid product knowledge. You will work closely with traders, providing real-time support on the swaps book while helping to improve and automate processes. ***This role is hybrid requiring you to work 2 days/week in office The Key Responsibilities include the following;
Support daily trade activity across swaps products
Reconcile and validate trades; Provide real-time support to traders on the swaps book
Build and enhance automation tools (Excel/VBA/Python)
2-7 years in capital markets operations (trade support, product control, etc.)
- Strong swaps knowledge (equity swaps preferred)
- Strong technical skills: VBA (must), Python (must), Power Automate (nice-to-have)
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
- comfortable working with front office
