Contribute to Scotiabank’s IT excellence as a Hardware Support Analyst focused on Windows and Linux server environments. This role demands a hands-on approach to maintain critical server uptime and security. As a Technical Support Analyst, you will manage the 24/7 lifecycle of server hardware, ensuring compliance and security through rigorous vulnerability assessments and disaster recovery preparedness. Your skills will directly impact the functionality of core banking systems and contact centers. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and harden Windows and Linux servers
- Provide Level 3 technical support for infrastructure
- Manage firmware and capacity planning for servers
- Document standards and support audits related to infrastructure
- Engage in cloud transition initiatives
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Proficient in Windows and Linux administration
- Experience in VMware ESXi environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication capabilities
