Job Summary
We are seeking a driven Sales Account Manager based in Calgary to develop and manage client relationships throughout Alberta, with a primary focus on Calgary and Edmonton. This autonomous, target-driven role is responsible for winning new business, growing existing accounts, and working closely with Operations and Health & Safety to deliver exceptional workforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new clients across Alberta’s construction, industrial, civil, energy and related sectors.
- Develop and grow existing client accounts through regular meetings and site visits.
- Travel regularly between Calgary, Edmonton and surrounding areas.
- Present AFGL’s workforce solutions tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with Operations and Health & Safety to ensure successful service delivery.
- Negotiate service agreements and oversee client onboarding.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Represent AFGL at networking events, trade associations and industry functions.
- Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, forecasts and KPI reporting
Requirements
- 3–5 years of business development or account management experience.
- Construction, staffing or industrial sales experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout Alberta.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada and based in or willing to relocate to Calgary.
