Position Summary:
As a Forklift Driver in an automotive manufacturing environment, you will be responsible but are not limited to loading/unloading trailer lines, using propane counter balance, stack racks, for assembling components, operating machinery, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Shift Schedule:
Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm $20.60/hr + 4% Vacation Pay
Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm $21.10/hr + 4% Vacation Pay
Night Shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am $21.60/hr + 4% Vacation Pay
Location Details :
Limited access to public transportation within St Thomas
Qualifications:
- Using a forklift, tugger or reach truck to load, unload and move products and materials
- Pick orders, stocking, packing and unpacking goods
- Stocking, packing and unpacking goods
- Transporting and distributing material
- Valid forklift license from a forklift training center (counterbalance, raymond reach, narrow aisle, tugger, etc)
- Ability to handle heavy loads with good manual dexterity, attention to detail and hand eye co-ordination)
- Ability to stand for 8 hours, with repetitive bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 50lbs)
- Completed high school diploma (or equivalency)
- Clear criminal background
