Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Foreperson, the  Equipment Operator (Telehandler/Skid Steer) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of telehandlers, skid steers, and other light equipment to support construction activities. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, transporting, and placing materials and equipment, as well as assisting with site preparation, maintenance, dewatering, and general site clean-up. This position requires strong operating skills, good hand-eye coordination, attention to safety, and the ability to work in varying weather and site conditions. The Equipment Operator must communicate effectively and follow direction from the Site Superintendent, Foreperson, and Management team while ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company policies, project requirements, and applicable health and safety regulations. Advanced equipment operating skills and experience in heavy civil construction are preferred.
