WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The Manager, Talent & Development, and HR Analytics is responsible for leading and executing talent and learning development strategies that enhance employee capabilities and drive organizational success. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing leadership development, training programs, and career development initiatives. The Manager works closely with business leaders to identify talent gaps, create targeted development plans, and foster a culture of continuous learning. The position also plays a key role in talent assessments, succession planning, and driving employee engagement, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES?

Talent Management

• Develop and implement a comprehensive talent management strategy, including talent gap analysis, succession planning, talent reviews, high-potential identification, and workforce capability planning aligned with business and people objectives.
• Own and lead the annual performance management cycle, including objective setting and cascading, mid-year and year-end reviews, calibration processes, and continuous performance improvement practices.
• Collaborate with Talent COE at HQ to lead and execute strategic Talent Management programs and projects, including succession planning, talent assessments, and other initiatives that support talent retention and growth.
• Drive leadership capability development initiatives such as Mentorship that strengthen bench strength, support future business needs, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.

Learning & Development

• Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to identify learning needs and design, develop, and deliver impactful learning solutions using a blended learning approach.
• Lead the execution of key learning and development programs, including Everything DiSC assessments and training, higher education policy deployment and validation, leadership development programs for Area Managers, Lead Hands, and first-time leaders, and Inclusion & Belonging learning initiatives.
• Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives, using participant feedback, business outcomes, and industry best practices to continuously improve learning experiences and program impact.
• Curate and promote a culture of continuous learning, utilize SharePoint for weekly communication, managing external partnerships, managing the internal higher educational policy and deploying innovative development opportunities to support employee growth and engagement.

HR Analytics

• Lead HR reporting and workforce analytics to monitor key people metrics (Headcount, Talent KPIs, Turnover etc), identify trends, and provide actionable insights to HR and business leaders.
• Own monthly headcount reporting and workforce tracking to support accurate business and financial reporting.
• Support workforce and people-cost planning by analyzing headcount, compensation assumptions, and forecast variances.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Relevant certifications in Talent, Development, and Learning

• Advanced mentoring and coaching skills

• Strong leadership, project and change management skills

• Proven experience in talent management, learning, and development, or a similar role, with expertise in talent strategy, succession planning, and blended learning approaches.

• Strong understanding of performance management processes and methodologies, including objective setting and mid-year reviews.

• Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, with experience integrating inclusion and belonging principles into talent development strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to manage HR KPIs for business reporting.

• Continuously update knowledge on industry trends and best practices in talent development, incorporating innovative approaches into programs.

Hiring Range: $67,900.00 - $106,590.00 CAD

The salary range shown reflects the expected annual base salary for this open position, plus other wage amounts such as annual bonus, profit sharing, and commissions.

Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
