Copperpenny Distilling Co. is seeking warm, polished and detail-oriented Servers to join the front-of-house team at our North Vancouver brand home.

This role extends well beyond traditional table service. Our servers are hosts, storytellers and brand ambassadors who guide guests through Copperpenny cocktails, tasting flights, food pairings and spirits while creating an experience that feels knowledgeable, personal and genuinely welcoming.

The ideal candidate has experience in an elevated hospitality environment, a passion for premium spirits and cocktails, and the confidence to share product knowledge without sounding scripted.

We treat our lounge like our living room - polished, comfortable and full of personality. It also happens to include a patio, cocktail bar, working grain-to-glass distillery, private VIP speakeasy and event space for up to 100 guests. You get the idea. There is rarely a shortage of activity, and we would love you to be part of it as Copperpenny continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive and professional service in our cocktail lounge, patio and private-event spaces.

• Guide guests through the cocktail, tasting and food menus, offering thoughtful recommendations and highlighting seasonal or limited-release products.

• Share Copperpenny’s spirits, production methods and brand story in an engaging and approachable way.

• Create memorable guest experiences that encourage return visits and build enthusiasm for the Copperpenny portfolio.

• Support retail sales of spirits, merchandise, tasting experiences and other brand-home offerings.

• Accurately enter orders, process payments and follow all responsible-service requirements.

• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, preparation and restocking duties throughout the lounge, retail bottle shop and event facilities.

• Work collaboratively with the bar, kitchen, retail and event teams to provide seamless service.

• Maintain a polished and professional presence while contributing to a friendly, energetic team environment.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of serving experience, preferably in a cocktail-focused, elevated-casual or premium hospitality environment.

• Current Serving It Right certification.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends and event shifts.

• Genuine interest in spirits, cocktails, mixology and hospitality.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain products clearly and confidently.

• Detail-oriented, dependable and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities during busy service.

• Willingness to learn and consistently follow Copperpenny service standards and operating procedures.

• A collaborative, team-first attitude.

• Ability to safely lift and carry light operational loads, including liquor cases.
