Human Resources People Partner

We are looking for someone who is forward thinking to help us strive towards everyday excellence while focusing on customer devotion and personal impact to ensure we are acting responsibly in everything we do.As the HR Business Partner, you are a conduit between HR Talent Acquisition Team, the HR Total Rewards Team, and the People Managers to ensure a smooth transition of employee-based programs (hiring, on-boarding, off-boarding). You will collaborate with the HR Management team supporting designated functions to drive engagement, ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures as well as supports and drives the company culture.The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a point of contact and ambassador throughout the employee life cycle process in 3 key areas:

• HR Generalist & Administration
• HR Engagement, Culture & Open Door
• HR Development & Communication

Responsibilities Business Partner

• Acts as an HR Business Partner to assigned departments on HR related items to include Talent Acquisition (liaison), Employee Relations, Performance Management, Compensation, and Compliance. This position demonstrates a high level of integrity, a strong depth of knowledge, and a proactive approach to customer service.
• Assist the business lines in achieving their objectives by providing proactive planning and day-to-day solutions, expert counsel, and accurate and timely HR information to employees and management of the company.
• Identify gaps, formalize processes and implement best practices in Amplifon processes.

HR Engagement, Culture & Open Door

• Assist employees with questions or concerns.
• Explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees.
• Responds to all general HR inquiries, audits, and requests.

Employee On-boarding & Off-boarding Pre-Boarding

• Coordinate and support the offer letter & welcome information packet for all positions. Ensuring that all documentation in the offer process is accurate, delivered professional and meets all requirements for pre-boarding of employees.

On-boarding

• Lead and coordinate the new-hire onboarding process, including preparation of materials, verifying all necessary documentation, greeting and welcoming our new-hires on their first day and ensuring our employees have all the information and resources needed to have an amazing start to their time at Amplifon Canada.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Onboarding & Off Boarding process across the business.
• Facilitate our current programs and perks, like our communication cadence, employee-lead activities, massage sessions, while continually thinking of ways to improve them, and investigate what additional programs and perks we can introduce to enhance our employee experience.

Off-boarding

• Assist to coordinate the off-boarding process, including preparation of materials, verifying all necessary documentation, exit communication and system wide notification.

Human Resources Administration

• Ensure new hire paperwork is completed accurately and is processed in a timely manner; including background checks.
• Update personnel files, process employee changes, and ensure proper approval received.
• Produce and monitor KPIs to control the completeness and length of onboarding processes, proposing new controls when relevant.
• Responsible for the tax verification process, ensure process is accurate and take appropriate action when employment eligibility issues arise.
• Coordinate Immigration process and tracking as requested.
• Responsible for organization of employee files, maintaining records and compiling and distributing reports as requested.
• Assist department with implementation of strategic HR programs such as performance management, training, employee surveys and communications.
• May assist HR Generalists and Recruiters with hiring process, which includes coordinating job openings, reviewing resumes, prescreen phone interviews, and performing reference.

Basic Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor's degree in human resources management or a similar combination of education and experience.
• Professional in Human Resources Certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience human resources, confidential, customer-oriented role.

Required Skills:

• Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources and HRIS databases .
• Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task numerous administrative tasks.
• Able to work independently, and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
• Extensive technical knowledge within and application of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; able to effectively interface with employees at all levels.
• Results-oriented, with the ability to complete assignments on time and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
• Strong attention to detail while being able to perceive and analyze problems, develop alternatives and implement resolutions.

Physical/Mental Demands:

• Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines.
• Lifting - only when archiving file information and/or moving/stocking office supplies.
• Periodic travel required.
