HR Business Partner

Position Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to operational leadership teams, providing guidance in workplace investigations, payroll queries, employee relations, policy interpretation, and employment law. This role leverages system data and internal partnerships to support informed decision-making and drive business performance with minimal impact on personnel.

Primary Responsibilities

• Consult with management on HR policies, procedures, and employment law compliance.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers to enhance engagement and business performance.
• Partner with HR Associates and employees to resolve employee relations issues.
• Investigate internal and external complaints and employee relations matters up to management level.
• Conduct exit interviews and deliver trend and analysis reports to leadership.
• Develop action plans to ensure compliance with local laws and generate applicable reports.
• Facilitate and follow up on performance review processes including goal setting, self-evaluations, and manager evaluations.
• Drive performance development initiatives including succession planning, development planning, and talent acquisition for key roles.
• Ensure compensation and benefits programs are administered according to company policies.
• Partner with functional leaders and corporate teams to address compensation challenges and develop sound pay practices.
• Support merit increase processes, promotions, market adjustments, and salary-related actions.
• Drive strategic staffing initiatives and support recruitment efforts for complex or unique roles.
• Identify organizational gaps and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Support regional organizational initiatives and promote HR integration best practices.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• High school diploma or GED with 8+ years of HR Generalist or Business Partner experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant HR experience required.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage employee relations issues and coach at all organizational levels.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy; able to work under pressure.
• Experience with workplace investigations and misconduct resolution
