Oncology Therapeutic Specialist

AbbVie seeks an Oncology Therapeutic Specialist for its commercial sales team in Vancouver to focus on hematological malignancies. The role involves developing business plans, executing brand strategy, managing customer relationships, and driving sales performance while maintaining patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Execute sales performance and deliver against brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives
- Create pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales execution and close sales
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key healthcare providers and stakeholders
- Execute territory call plans to maximize customer coverage and sales opportunities
- Gather and share market intelligence on customer needs, competitors, and disease dynamics with team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or equivalent
- Three to five years specialty pharmaceutical sales with strong clinical background
- In-depth scientific and therapeutic knowledge in hematology-oncology
- Hospital network skills and proven track record in sales
- Strong presentation skills and ability to adapt selling approach to customer behavior
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with various technology systems
- Valid driver's license and passport; willingness to travel approximately 30% overnight
