E-Commerce Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven E-Commerce Specialist to manage and grow our online pet products business.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating an e-commerce store, including product management, online merchandising, promotions, inventory coordination, and sales performance analysis. Candidates with Shopify experience will be given preference, and previous experience in the pet products or pet retail industry is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

·         Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the company’s e-commerce store.

·         Create, update, and optimize product listings, including product titles, descriptions, images, pricing, variants, collections, and product information.

·         Coordinate new product launches and ensure products are accurately and effectively presented online.

·         Plan and execute online promotions, seasonal campaigns, discount programs, bundles, and other sales initiatives.

·         Analyze sales and customer behaviour data and recommend actions to improve online sales and conversion.

·         Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with purchasing and operations teams to minimize stock-outs and maintain accurate online inventory information.

·         Work closely with purchasing, marketing, and operations teams on new product launches, promotions, pricing, and inventory planning.

·         Monitor competitor websites, pricing, promotions, product assortment, and trends within the pet products market.

·         Coordinate with external agencies, developers, or service providers when technical or website support is required.

·         Ensure all online product information, pricing, and promotional content are accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

·         Minimum 2 years of hands-on e-commerce operations experience, preferably in retail or consumer products.

·         Proven experience managing an online store, including product listings, merchandising, promotions, and sales performance.

·         Hands-on Shopify experience is strongly preferred.

·         Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and the online customer journey.

·         Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills with good data organization and analytical abilities.

·         Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing product information, pricing, promotions, and inventory.

·         Strong organizational and project coordination skills.

·         Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

·         Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Previous experience in the pet products, pet retail, or pet services industry is highly preferred.

·         Knowledge of pet product categories, customer preferences, and current pet industry trends.

·         Knowledge of SEO and product-page optimization is an asset.

. Bilingual with Mandarin speakers is preferred.
