Operations Support Coordinator

Shift: Mon-Fri, 20:00-04:30, Sat-Sun OFF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Audit inbound and outbound product.
• Provide quality control by physically opening product boxes and investigating potential product damage.
• Accurately input data in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Act as a liaison between Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operators and Logistics Coordinators (LC).
• Assist with facility inventory management.
• Able to comfortably lift/move 50 pounds of product.
• Work in a fast-paced environment packaging products to be shipped.
• Moving product to correct locations by reading & scanning labels.
• Ensure tasks get done on time and accurately.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team focused environment.
• Actively communicate with supervisors and colleagues to notify them of problems/concerns.
• Demonstrate respect for the organization's values daily, while maintaining and upholding company policies & procedures.
• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) training is considered an asset.
• Other duties as required.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 1 year warehouse experience is considered an asset.

EDUCATION

• Some High School, preferably a High School Diploma

HEATH & SAFETY

• Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act including Safety, Violence and Harassment laws.
• Work in a healthy and safe manner following Metro's policies and procedures.
• Hi-visibility vests and steel toe shoes/boots required.
• Report any hazards you find in the workplace to your supervisor.
• Must not use or operate equipment in a manner that would endanger yourself or others.
