Job Responsibility:
Ali Syed CPA Professional Corporation has a position open for Accounting and Tax Assistant. The position is ideal for someone who is looking for exposure and practical experience in Personal and Corporate Taxation, Bookkeeping, QuickBooks, Payroll, and other related services.
We are looking for an applicant who posses a strong knowledge of Canadian Accounting and Tax environment and are looking to gain practical experience.
Part-Time: 3 Days a Week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
Technical Skills:
o Must have accounting knowledge.
o Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft suite in particular excel.
o Knowledge of personal taxes and T1 general is an asset
o Must be able to work in a busy tax environment.
o Past experience with accounting and tax software is an asset.
Personality Traits
o Outgoing, quick learner, enthusiastic and positive attitude
o Must be able to work long hours as required.
o Must be able to work independently and initiatives.
o Must be creative and have problem-solving abilities.
o Must be well aware of social media and social marketing
Schedule:
o 8-hour shift
o Day shift
o Wednesday to Friday
o Morning shift
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
