Client Account Manager / Debt Solutions Manager (Toronto)

Overview

A leading financial insolvency firm in North York is recruiting a Client Account Manager / Debt Solutions Manager. The role involves meeting with potential clients to review their financial situation and provide professional debt solutions services in North York. The successful candidate will report to the regional trustee and participate in networking and marketing initiatives.

General Responsibilities

  • Respond to initial contact from insolvency persons via telephone or e‑mail (customer service).
  • Meet clients face‑to‑face, understand practical needs, and match to appropriate solutions.
  • Clearly document client situations to facilitate subsequent data processing by the back‑office.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Professional and effective communication skills, including telephone demeanor and face‑to‑face.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Excellent selling and closing skills within highly professional and ethical standards.
  • In‑depth exposure to debt restructuring.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas and results‑oriented attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long‑term referral relationships.
  • High personal integrity, honesty, empathy and trustworthiness.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Co‑operative team player with focus on customer service.
  • Well organized to manage paperwork in the back‑office system.
  • Assertive, confident, enthusiastic with passion for sales and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Self‑motivated to own work and actions; able to work independently and meet objectives, goals and timelines.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Ontario driver licence and reliable licensed and insured vehicle.
  • Willing to travel to satellite offices and attend team and management meetings at the North York hub.
  • Willing to accommodate evening or weekend appointments as needed.

Education & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–4 years of successful strategic sales experience.
  • College diploma with strong emphasis on business skills preferred.
