System Planning Senior Manager at ATCO (Edmonton)

Drive impactful system planning leadership at ATCO Electric in Edmonton or Calgary. This senior manager role focuses on strategic oversight, team development, and meeting industry challenges.
In the Business Development division, you'll report to the Director of Electric System Development & Strategy. You will ensure effective planning for ATCO’s transmission and distribution systems while managing a high-performing team. This role requires exceptional leadership to foster growth and navigate evolving technology and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote safety leadership and compliance culture
- Develop a high-performing planning team
- Lead development of the planning workplan
- Manage group workloads and succession plans
- Ensure strategic development of transmission and distribution systems
Requirements
- Minimum ten years of leadership experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Qualified Engineering (P.Eng.) designation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
