Senior Manager, Market Access & Government Affairs, Oncology, Quebec & Atlantic

AbbVie seeks a Senior Manager to lead government affairs and market access strategy for oncology products across Quebec and Atlantic Canada. The role involves building relationships with government decision-makers and payers to advance policy and secure optimal reimbursement conditions.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional government affairs and market access strategies for Quebec and Atlantic Canada
Secure and maintain market access and optimal reimbursement for oncology products with provincial payers
Build and manage relationships with government ministers, deputy ministers, payers, and healthcare influencers
Monitor legislation and policy developments; identify barriers and develop timely policy recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated engagement plans and patient evidence submissions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, science, public policy, health administration, or related field
10+ years of experience in government affairs, market access, health policy, or public sector
Demonstrated success influencing legislation, regulation, or public reimbursement decisions
Strong policy analysis skills and understanding of Canadian healthcare reimbursement landscape
Experience engaging senior stakeholders in Quebec and Atlantic Canada
Understanding of health economics, pharmacoeconomics, and real-world evidence principles
Exceptional stakeholder relationship management and strategic planning capabilities
