Accounting Administrative Support

Studio JCI Inc. is a dynamic firm providing full design services for commercial and residential sectors. We approach our work with rigor and intensive study, from architectural concepts and market feasibility to functional programming and building performance. We are conveniently located near Transit & Highway (Allen Rd and Sheppard Ave. W) in the North York area.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounting Administrative Support to join our team. As an established architecture firm specializing in innovative design solutions, we are looking for a candidate who can manage our financial operations and contribute to our organization's overall efficiency and growth.
Day to Day Accounting
· Ensure accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all accounting and financial record-keeping, in compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, standards and company policies
· Ensure that company's financial systems & processes are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
· Develop and maintains financial policies and procedures
· Create annual budget and reviews monthly with Principals against actuals
· Complete monthly financial reporting package for the Principals
· Manage AP/AR
· Payroll
· Assistance with related companies
· Any other finance and bookkeeping tasks, as required
· Arrange annual federal, and provincial corporate tax returns. Liaises with an accounting firm for annual review and tax returns
Qualifications
· Minimum 8 years of post-graduate experience in accounting and operations.
· CPA designation is preferred; an international CPA equivalent will be considered.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
· Proficiency in Ajera (or similar ERP software) is an asset.
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
· Experience in managing books for mid-size to large companies, with an understanding of scalability.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
