Senior Mine Water Technical Leader

Stantec is looking for a Senior Mine Water Technical Leader to guide our Atlantic Discipline. This position prioritizes the development of integrated management solutions while mentoring emerging professionals. You will tackle complex challenges related to water management in mining from regulatory processes to closure strategies while promoting a culture of safety and innovation. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level leadership in mine water practices
- Develop integrated water balance strategies for maritime conditions
- Oversee design and assessment of water management systems
- Guide clients through regulatory requirements
- Foster a mentoring culture and support career development
- M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences or Engineering preferred
- At least 12 years of mine water management experience
- Expertise in ARD/ML and regulatory frameworks
- Proven multidisciplinary project leadership
- Strong organizational and communication skills
