Senior Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer

Lead mainframe performance and capacity management as a Senior Metrics Engineer. Optimize critical systems through anomaly detection and collaborative engineering practices. In this pivotal role, you will support the financial sector as a Senior Mainframe Infrastructure Metrics Engineer with over 10 years of hands-on experience. Your expertise in performance optimization, data analysis, and robust monitoring tools will be essential in maintaining the integrity of mission-critical workloads. Collaboration with various teams ensures that you can effectively guide performance tuning and incident management efforts to maintain system efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage z/OS system performance in real-time
- Analyze capacity requirements and implement tuning strategies
- Resolve workload performance issues through collaboration
- Create dashboards and reports for performance insights
- Contribute to capacity planning and resource optimization
- 10+ years in mainframe systems and performance management
- Advanced skills in z/OS, REXX/Python, and JCL
- Experience with performance monitoring and data visualization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of SMF/RMF data and capacity planning
