Senior Business Analyst, Data Engineering / Healthcare Data

Position Description
CGI is expanding its Health and Life Sciences Team in the Atlantic Region! We are seeking Senior data-focused Business Analyst or Data Engineering BA to support enterprise healthcare data, analytics, reporting, ETL, data modelling, governance, privacy, and CIS/EHR reporting environments.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Gather and document requirements for healthcare data, analytics, and EHR/CIS reporting
• Translate business needs into data models, ETL pipelines, and reporting solutions
• Collaborate with data engineers, stakeholders, and clinical teams
• Support data modelling, data flows, and transformation logic
• Ensure data quality, validation, and integrity across pipelines
• Contribute to BI reporting and dashboard development
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards
• Support UAT, data reconciliation, and issue resolution
• Provide expertise in healthcare data and reporting environments

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years IM/IT experience
• 10+ years of data engineering, BI development, or related data delivery experience
• 7+ years of enterprise healthcare data experience
• Experience with cloud-based analytics environments
• Strong experience with data modelling, ETL, reporting platforms, governance, security, and privacy controls
• Experience supporting CIS/EHR reporting environments

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000–$140,000. This role is a future opportunity.
