Software Engineer- Customer - PostGrid (Mississauga)

PostGrid is a global leader in enterprise SaaS platforms for automated offline communications, offering APIs for physical mail on a global scale. We’re looking for a Customer Engineer to join our engineering team and shape the future of offline communications.

What you’ll do

As a Customer Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our core product, responsible for both technical leadership and hands‑on development. You'll build and enhance services that handle over a billion API calls a month, from architectural design to implementation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Full‑stack development of services using Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and React.
• Iterate on REST APIs that handle over one billion requests monthly, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Support customers and operations by debugging issues, identifying root causes, and building internal tools for user management and reviews.
• Collaborate on product design, optimizing user experiences, planning features, and estimating complexity with product management.
• Advocate for customers, managing a portfolio of key clients, identifying risks, and creating retention plans.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience as a full‑stack software engineer covering front‑end and back‑end solutions.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and React.
• Proven experience with architectural design, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Jest and Vitest.
• Proactive, results‑oriented mindset with ownership and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
