Integration Specialist

A growing healthcare technology company is expanding its Vancouver team and is looking for a Senior Deployment Engineer to join a small, senior group delivering enterprise medical imaging and clinical informatics solutions to hospitals and health systems across Canada.
This is hands‑on, customer‑facing work. You'll lead deployments, troubleshoot complex integrations, and partner directly with clinical, technical, and business stakeholders. The team is tight, experienced, and trusted to own work end to end — there's no layer of project gatekeepers between you and the customer.
What you’ll do
- Deploy, configure, and support enterprise medical imaging systems in live hospital environments
- Own integrations across DICOM, HL7, and IHE profiles
- Administer the supporting infrastructure: Windows Server, MS SQL (including high‑availability configurations), Active Directory, and virtualization platforms
- Troubleshoot across the full stack — applications, OS, database, network, and security
- Work directly with radiologists, IT teams, and hospital leadership to scope, deliver, and support solutions
- Contribute to internal tooling and automation
What we’re looking for
- 5–10 years in IT, with 3–5 years in healthcare IT (support, deployment, or integration)
- Strong PACS or medical imaging systems experience preferred; deep healthcare IT background considered
- Working knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and IHE
- Hands‑on with Windows Server, MS SQL, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware or Hyper‑V)
- Healthcare‑grade networking and security fundamentals — VPN, firewalls, segmentation
- Scripting fluency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Strong communication — comfortable explaining technical concepts to clinical and executive audiences
- Clear, structured problem‑solving

- Technical degree (computer engineering, IT or similar)
