Breakfast Line Cook

Job Responsibility:

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meal preparation in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy delicious and safe meals while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
• Ensure all food handling and preparation meets health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the planning of menus, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cook in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for cooking and creativity in meal presentation is a plus.
