Group Fitness Instructor - Freestyle - Whitby Taunton and Brock

Who is a Group Fitness Instructor? The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for providing a high-quality, engaging and motivating experience that includes safe, inclusive, and enjoyable instruction and leadership for participants in all Group classes.
What will you be doing? Provide instruction of high-quality, protected, and enjoyable experience that embodies the essence of the programming assigned and meets Good Life's standards of delivery in all Group Fitness classes.
Promote and support all Group Experience programming by encouraging continued participation in classes and creating Member engagement and adherence to Group Experience programming.
Share guidance, recommendations, and information about all Club services to best serve the needs of Members.
Follow all class operating procedures and encourage Members to book into their next class at the end of each class.
Source/download class music to personal devices for use when teaching.
Learn new release material & scripting if applicable.
Review workout plans & scripting prior to class to ensure smooth and accurate class delivery.
Stay updated with any educational or programming changes as required.
Arrive in time to ensure class starts promptly.
Provide feedback to the General Manager when necessary, from yourself or Members, about schedules, studios, classes, etc., and seek ways to help ensure positive Member experiences and participation in Group Experience programming.
Do you have what it takes? Must have a relevant certification to be considered.
Must have current CPR-A and AED certification to be considered.
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers.
Responds and relates well to Leaders.
Puts a lot of effort into activities.
Is personally committed to and actively works toward continually improving themselves.
Always helpful to the rest of the team/other teams.

Compensation: expected that the selected candidate will start at a base wage of $32.00, based on experience and certifications held.
