We are seeking a Journeyman Instrumentation Technician to join our team on various construction projects. The Instrumentation Journeyman is committed to delivering safe, high-quality work that meets and exceeds client expectations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, and customer satisfaction, along with proven experience producing accurate, detail-oriented work in support of client needs. Key Responsibilities: Install, test, and calibrate industrial instrumentation, electrical, and control systems, including continuous emissions monitoring (CEMS) Perform installation and calibration, of process control instrumentation such as transmitters, analyzers, control valves, controllers, PLCs, and protective relays Support and maintain power generation and industrial equipment, including gas turbines, generators, and plant auxiliary systems Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, control system drawings, manuals, and technical documentation Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering teams, and external contractors during installations, start-ups, and shutdowns Communicate equipment condition, safety concerns, and job status clearly to operations and supervision Perform all work in compliance with Health & Safety standards, OHS regulations, and company policies Other duties as required Qualifications / Requirements: Journeyman Instrumentation Technician certificate; Red Seal Instrumentation Technician certification preferred Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation, electrical principles, voltage/current relationships Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020 Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, DCS, and HMI systems (programming and troubleshooting) Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs Experience in gas plants, power plants, or industrial manufacturing environments Proficient with test and calibration equipment (multimeters, loop calibrators, oscilloscopes) Skilled using hand tools and electrical tools for installation and maintenance Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills Valid driver's licence Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction Compensation & Benefits: Rate: $47.30 - $54.55 Based on Experience Shift: 7 on and 7 off Travel Allowance: $300 Accommodations: Camp Provided Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
