Instrumentation Technician at Compass

Join Compass as an Instrumentation Technician, where your expertise in installing systems for natural gas plants is crucial. This role demands precise blueprints interpretation and instrumentation installation within quality standards. As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing instrumentation devices while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your role includes reading blueprints, measuring and marking tubing, and conducting system inspections. Strong organizational skills and teamwork are essential to maintain project timelines and quality. Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints for project execution
• Install and assemble instrumentation controls and end devices
• Inspect instrument lines using pressure gauges and testing methods
• Cut, thread, and fabricate tubing with tools
• Direct and mentor apprentices during operations Requirements:
• Experience as an instrument technician apprentice or journeyman
• Knowledge of Quality Control procedures, ASME where applicable
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights
• Must have own tools per Compass Tool List Leverage your skills in instrumentation to deliver high-quality solutions at Compass.
