Store Planner Role at Sobeys

Lead innovative design projects at Sobeys as a Store Planner, focusing on retail store development. Collaborate with teams to create and manage efficient and brand-consistent store layouts. In this position, you will guide the design and development of new and renovated stores. Reporting to the Design Manager, you’ll develop fixture layouts and ensure alignment with capital plans. Your role includes site reviews and managing design submissions, ensuring compliance with national standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop design concepts and fixture plans for capital projects
• Conduct site reviews to confirm as-built store status
• Provide and obtain signoff on design documents
• Manage external design consultants for project accuracy
• Support the Construction Project Management team for timely completions Requirements:
• Bachelor of Technology in construction or architectural technology
• 3-5 years' experience as a Store Planner in retail
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Excellent understanding of building codes and design guidelines Enhance Sobeys' retail environment with your design expertise while ensuring project efficiency and compliance.
