Job Responsibility:
Job Summary VA Inc is currently seeking experienced Truck Mechanic to join our team. We are a large Transportation company mainly doing runs across Canada. The perfect candidate must have sound knowledge of garage practices and Truck and Trailer Mechanic Specific Skills. We offer competitive salary.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing tractor-trailers; Hitching systems, trailer bodies, braking systems, transmissions, wheels, axles, etc.
- Utilizing diagnostics equipment to isolate operating problems and repair faults
- Performing regular fleet maintenance on company trucks
- Keeping the shop clean

Criteria
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and experience with troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Professional service attitude
- Must own tools
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Safety conscious, ability to work in a safety driven environment
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
- Physically fit and capable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
