Position Summary We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Elevator Mechanic to join our team in Sudbury . This role is responsible for leading the installation, maintenance, and servicing of elevators and lifts in residential and low-rise commercial buildings. The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical background, a high level of professionalism, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Wages: Competitive + Company Vehicle Job Location: Sudbury Responsibilities - Lead and execute the installation, maintenance, and service of elevators and lifts according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Ensure all work is performed with a focus on qualityno shortcutswith all units running flawlessly upon completion.
- Perform thorough checks and inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and manufacturer guidelines.
- Exhibit professional conduct at all timescourteous, respectful, and representing Savaria with integrity when dealing with customers, colleagues, and other trades.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, stooping, walking, and handling heavy materials.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on-site and implement effective solutions.
- Foster a safe and cooperative work environment and provide mentorship to apprentices or junior mechanics as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely project completion.

- Grade 12 diploma is required; must be certified as an Elevator Constructor and Mechanic.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lead Mechanic in elevator installation.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on experience in elevator systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Clean police check and bondable.
- Neat, clean appearance with a customer-focused attitude.
