As a Discipline Manager at Stantec, you will oversee our Canadian mining delivery team, engaging skilled professionals in the technical execution of diverse mining projects. This managerial role involves mentoring engineers and technicians, ensuring project efficiency, and enhancing market positioning in underground mining development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise project teams and provide technical guidance
• Develop and implement training programs for team growth
• Manage project deliverables for quality and timeliness
• Lead business development initiatives and client relationships
• Ensure safety compliance and health standards are upheld
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or diploma
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mining
• Strong technical capability in mine design and construction
• Valid Class G Driver's license in Ontario
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
