- Cabinet de dentiste
- Préparer les patients pour les examens dentaires
- Accomplir des tâches de bureau et de réceptionniste
- Stériliser et entretenir les instruments et l'équipement
- Renseigner le patient au sujet de l'hygiène dentaire
- Fixer et confirmer des rendez-vous
- Effectuer des tâches intra-buccales
- Prendre et développer les radiographies
- Consigner des renseignements sur les soins dispensés aux patients
- Établir les factures pour les services dentaires
- Prendre les impressions préliminaires des moulages diagnostiques
- Certificat sur la protection contre les rayons X (PRX)
- Adhésion à l'Association canadienne des assitant(e)s dentaires
- Inscription auprès des autorités provinciales ou territoriales
- Certificat du Bureau national d'examen d'assistance dentaire
