Position Description
We currently have an exciting role for a Journeyman, Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic to service our fleet of commercial vehicles in our Kelowna location. This position is Monday - Friday.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform service and repairs of all Company vehicles/equipment.
- Perform services and repairs out of service truck
- Perform preventive maintenance services
- Ensure service and maintenance practices meet the regulatory requirements
- Work in a safe manner in accordance to the provincial regulations
- Additional duties may be required
Qualifications
- Journeyman mechanic
- Red Seal
- CNG inspection ticket
- Valid class 5 License.
- Class 3 license considered an asset
- 2 years maintenance experience considered an asset
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in waste equipment and function is considered an asset
- CVIP License or willing to obtain
