Finishing Site Superintendent- Common Areas

Job Description
- Oversee the finishing and quality control of common areas.
- Coordinate schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to project deadlines.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
- Monitor and maintain health and safety standards on the construction site.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Resolve on-site issues and provide solutions to maintain project progress.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to project progress.
- Ensure compliance with all local building codes and regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finishing Site Superintendent- Common Areas should have:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in finishing work.
- Full-cycle experience with large scale multi-tower/mixed-use projects.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage teams effectively.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and construction regulations in Toronto.
- Proven ability to resolve on-site challenges and maintain project timelines while dealing with PDI's and deficiencies.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Existing relationships with trades and subcontractors is considered a strong asset
- Comfortability in a client facing role.
