Finishing Site Superintendent- Common Areas

Job Description

• Oversee the finishing and quality control of common areas.
• Coordinate schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to project deadlines.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
• Monitor and maintain health and safety standards on the construction site.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Resolve on-site issues and provide solutions to maintain project progress.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to project progress.
• Ensure compliance with all local building codes and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finishing Site Superintendent- Common Areas should have:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in finishing work.
• Full-cycle experience with large scale multi-tower/mixed-use projects.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage teams effectively.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and construction regulations in Toronto.
• Proven ability to resolve on-site challenges and maintain project timelines while dealing with PDI's and deficiencies.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Existing relationships with trades and subcontractors is considered a strong asset
• Comfortability in a client facing role.
