Location : Mississauga, ON — Hybrid (~2 days/week in office, project-based)

ABOUT THE ROLE

A major enterprise client is executing a large-scale Salesforce transformation spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Customer Engagement capabilities. You will serve as the senior architectural authority — defining, governing, and evolving the Salesforce platform across the organization while aligning business strategy, platform design, and delivery execution.

This is not a hands-on development or configuration role. You will operate as the final architectural decision-maker and a trusted advisor to senior IT and business leadership across multiple delivery teams and portfolios.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Enterprise & Solution Architecture Leadership

• Own and evolve the end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud at enterprise scale
• Define target-state and transitional architectures aligned with business strategy, enterprise architecture, and IT roadmaps
• Act as the final architectural authority for complex Salesforce designs, integrations, and platform decisions
• Lead architecture assessments, solution evaluations, and technology trade-off discussions

Platform Strategy, Governance & Standards

• Establish and enforce Salesforce architectural standards, design principles, and reference architectures
• Define guardrails for customization, automation, data, and integrations to ensure long-term platform health
• Govern platform usage to balance speed of delivery with scalability, security, and compliance
• Proactively identify architectural risks, technical debt, and platform constraints; recommend remediation strategies

Delivery Enablement & Oversight

• Provide architectural oversight across multiple concurrent delivery teams and initiatives
• Review and approve high-impact solution designs, integration approaches, and major enhancements
• Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, and delivery leads to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements
• Act as the escalation point for complex or cross-domain Salesforce challenges

Integration & Data Architecture

• Define and govern integration patterns between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures
• Provide architectural leadership for data models, data migrations, data quality, and master data considerations
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Integration, and Security teams to ensure alignment with the broader enterprise ecosystem

Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement

• Serve as a trusted architectural advisor to senior IT and business leadership
• Influence platform investment decisions and roadmap prioritization through clear architectural insights
• Communicate complex technical concepts in concise, executive-ready language

MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Architect  leading architecture in complex enterprise environments
• Deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud — platform limits, security models, data architecture, automation
• Proven track record architecting large-scale, highly integrated Salesforce solutions  across multiple delivery teams and portfolios
• Strong command of enterprise integration patterns,  security architecture, and data governance principles
• Demonstrated ability to influence architectural decisions without direct authority — operating as a trusted advisor, not a manager
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills — able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, platform integrations)
• Integration experience with CCaaS platforms and MuleSoft
• Salesforce certifications: Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect
• Experience in regulated, healthcare, or security-sensitive environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and release governance for Salesforce platforms
• Exposure to marketing automation ecosystems (Marketo, Pardot, or equivalent)
• Professional working proficiency in French (strong asset)

INTERVIEW PROCESS

• Round 1 — Technical & Architecture Review: Salesforce architecture experience, design philosophy, integration approach, and platform governance methodology
• Round 2 — Business & Leadership Round: Stakeholder engagement approach, enterprise-level decision-making, and real-world architectural leadership experience
