Scheduler - Hourly

Location: London, Ontario Employment Type: Full-Time Sc hedule: Day Shi ft s, 40 Hours per Week Workdays: Monday to Friday Compensation: $40,500 to $42,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Scheduler - Hourly to oversee and coordinate security personnel schedules across the London & Windsor  region , while indirectly  supporting our Southwest & North ern Ontario branches.

The Scheduler will play a key role in ensuring adequate staffing coverage and maintaining a high level of service for our clients. This position requires strong communication , problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with security personnel, management, and clients to coordinate schedules, respond to staffing changes, resolve coverage issues, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and maintain schedules for security personnel based on client requirements, operational needs, and employee availability.

• Monitor staffing levels and make real-time scheduling adjustments to address absences, shift changes, and coverage requirements.

• Communicate schedules, assignments, duties, and schedule changes clearly and promptly to security personnel.

• Coordinate with management to ensure scheduling practices comply with company policies and applicable labour and employment regulations.

• Utilize scheduling and workforce management software to track employee hours, monitor overtime, and maintain accurate timekeeping records.

• Respond promptly to scheduling inquiries and resolve staffing-related concerns in a professional and efficient manner.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of employee availability, schedules, shift assignments, and client requirements.

• Identify potential staffing gaps and take proactive measures to maintain continuous site coverage.

• Support management with administrative and scheduling-related tasks as required .

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee and client information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations, or a related field is considered an asset.

• Previous experience in scheduling, workforce coordination, administrative support, security operations, or related positions .

• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling or workforce management software.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with management and team members.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in time-sensitive situations.

• Ability to remain calm, professional, and organized in a fast-paced environment.

• Availability to work overnight shifts from Friday through Monday.
