BlueStone Properties Inc. has been an industry leader in property management, construction and development for three generations. We are seeking a part-time  Customer Service Representative to assist with the daily operations of Storage Worx, our award-winning self-storage facility!

 
SUMMARY
Working 25 hours per week on a variable schedule from Tuesdays to Saturdays, this position supports the daily operations of Storage Worx. Key responsibilities include providing knowledgeable and friendly customer service, maintaining a clean and secure facility, assisting with leasing, supporting marketing and promotional activities, and building positive tenant relationships.

DUTIES

• Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service by phone, email, and in person


• Perform cleaning and maintenance of on-site equipment, grounds, and facilities


• Rent U-Haul trucks and assist with maintenance and upkeep of storage equipment as needed


• Complete opening procedures, including facility walk-throughs, bathroom cleaning, and parking lot checks


• Ensure the facility is locked and secured at closing, including securing cash and completing daily close procedures


• Assist with the leasing of storage units and collect rent or other monies due


• Assist with light snow shoveling and outdoor duties during all seasons, as required
  Assist with marketing, networking, on-site events, and purchasing supplies as directed

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with cleaning and light facility or equipment maintenance


• Experience in sales, customer service, or storage leasing environment


• Access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and automotive insurance is required


• Computer and smart phone proficiency is required


• Proficient spoken and written English


• Courteous manners with the public


• Punctual and reliable


• Able to work independently of direct supervision


• Able to lift up to 40 lbs, sit for extended periods, and perform cleaning duties as required


• Criminal background check required
