About Us: Yaya's Kitchen Café is all about blending global culinary traditions with bold, creative flair. We're bringing something unique to the table - ramen that honours classic techniques while exploring rich flavours from Africa, the Caribbean, and beyond. We're looking for a Ramen Chef who's passionate about crafting soulful bowls and pushing the boundaries of what ramen can be.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve authentic, flavorful ramen dishes with a Yaya's twist, including developing broths, infused oils, and house-made pastes.
Create innovative ramen recipes by blending classic techniques with cultural ingredients, celebrating diverse flavors.
Set up and maintain a well-organized ramen station, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Collaborate with the culinary team to keep the menu fresh, exciting, and culturally rooted.
Train and guide kitchen staff on ramen preparation techniques and station management.
Manage inventory, order ingredients, and maintain ramen-specific equipment.

Experience: Proven skills as a ramen chef, with expertise in making traditional stocks and broths.
Creativity: Willingness to experiment and integrate flavors from diverse culinary traditions.
Team Player: Comfortable training others and working collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen.
