West Fraser seeks an Internal Auditor or Senior Internal Auditor for its Accounting & Finance team. This position reports to the Director of Internal Audit and involves conducting risk assessments, planning audits, and executing comprehensive audit programs. Candidates should have solid knowledge of SOX Internal Controls and corporate accounting practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments to outline audit focus
- Plan and scope internal audits effectively
- Develop and execute comprehensive audit programs
- Report audit findings and coordinate remediation efforts
- Apply data analytics techniques for critical risk assessment
- University degree in Business, Accounting, or IT
- CPA designation required; CIA, CFE, or CISA preferred
- 3-4 years of accounting/audit experience required
- Solid knowledge in SOX Internal Controls and IFRS
- Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel
