Job Posting: Administrative Automotive Shop Support
Position: Administrative Automotive Shop Support Location: MIDAS Nanaimo Store Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Automotive Shop Support. In this role, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our automotive shops. This includes but is not limited to Appointment bookings, Social media support and general Administrative support for multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Answering online Facebook requests for appointments and booking appointments for our 5 locations
- Answering Appointment request phone line for all 5 locations- Booking appointments accordingly
- Responding to online email appointment requests via email and phone; Booking accordingly for each store
- Performing Google review requests and monitoring
- Assisting with accounts payables and receivables, including credit card payments and basic reconciliation
- Administrative assistance with dealer and supplier payments, Including Invoice verification and reconciliation
- Supplier invoice filing and organization as required
Requirements:
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in social media outlets
- Good working knowledge of basic computer programs, including Word and Excel
- Previous experience in customer service, appointment coordination, or basic bookkeeping
- Pleasant telephone manner and strong written communication skills
Benefits:
- Competitive wage starting at $21.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Benefits available after 90 days
- 2 weeks vacation after one year
