Expected Start Date: November 23, 2026 Union: OOS Facility: Saskatchewan Health Authority City/Town: Regina Department: Workforce Planning & Employment Strategies, Regina Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Standby Number of Hours per Rotation: 5 shifts of 7.5 hours per 1 weeks Relief: No Float: No Salary or Pay Band: As per Terms and Conditions of Employment Travel Required: Yes Job : Workforce Planning and Employment Strategies (WPES) Specialists are responsible for performing various key functions within the Human Resources portfolio. The WPES Specialist provides advanced knowledge as a strategic partner and subject matter expert within the Human Resources Department in the design, delivery, and implementation of human resource services and strategies to improve operations, achieve goals, and resolve issues. The Specialist provides solutions for workforce planning and employment strategies issues including collective agreement interpretation, union negotiation, recruitment and retention strategies, organizational change, layoff, hiring, human rights, provincial labour law related to employment applications, in-scope and out-of-scope job evaluation and classification, salary administration, market supplements, immigration, diversity and inclusion, representative workforce, organizational design, workforce optimization and health human resource planning. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources Other Education and Training
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Commerce, Human Resources, or Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience
