Senior Calibration Engineer at BRP

Join BRP as a Senior Calibration Engineer and advance the development of high-performance recreational vehicles. This position centers on engine optimization for quality and emissions. Reporting to the Engine Calibration Team Lead, you will spearhead engine calibration projects in a dynamic environment. Your role will encompass developing injection system settings and contributing to powertrain control advancements. You will also participate in optimization testing and diagnose system failures, ensuring our vehicles meet stringent performance criteria while improving development efficiency through novel calibration methodologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead 4-stroke engine calibration projects with technical and management oversight
- Optimize fuel injection for improved emissions and performance
- Work collaboratively on the development of engine software
- Conduct optimization tests using dynamometers and real-world tracks
- Diagnose issues within engine systems for robust performance
- Bachelor’s or engineering degree in mechanical or related fields
- At least 5 years in internal combustion engine engineering
- Proficient in both English and French for effective communication
- Expertise in engine control strategies and transmission systems
- Committed to continuous learning and tackling new challenges
